Product information "DPF Cleaner - Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner"
Specially formulated additive that optimizes combustion, reduces soot emissions, cleans the fuel systems and extends DPF lifespans.
The problem
For vehicles that are mainly used for short distances, the filter is clogged with soot to a great extent. Low combustion and exhaust gas temperatures induce an incomplete combustion of the soot, thus high amount of soot in the exhaust gas. The result is a heavily polluted particulate filter. In short-haul driving, a particulate filter regeneration is not initiated by the engine control.
DPF Cleaner regenerates clogged particulate filters and reduces the carbon-particulate emission
The DPF Cleaner provides the necessary soot burning temperature, which ensures complete combustion of the soot even at low exhaust gas temperatures.
DPF-Cleaner cleans the particulate filter
Dirty soot filters are cleaned while driving within a short time without disassembly. The life of the diesel particulate filter is extended.
DPF-Cleaner cleans the fuel system
WAGNER DPF-Cleaner is ideal for short trips and stop-and-go traffic in the city. Regular use ensures efficient combustion and keeps the injectors and particulate filters clean.
Application
WAGNER DPF-Cleaner is safe for use in all diesel engines with particulate filters, SCR catalytic converters as well as in modern vehicles with Common-Rail (CDI), unit-injector (TDI) engines and in combination with all diesel particulate filter regeneration systems.
Applicable also in Diesel /Bio-Diesel mixtures, pure Bio Diesel (B100) and Vegetable Oils.
Dosing
The quantity of 300 ml is sufficient for up to 60 litres of diesel fuel.
Mixing Ratio: 1:200
For frequent short trips, the application should be made every 5,000 km.
For combined short and long-distance trips, an application must be carried out not later than every 10,000 km.
The application / regeneration should not be done with less than 20 litres of diesel in the tank.
For vehicles with more than 50,000 km mileage a multiple application is advantageous.
